#VisionaryElegance Act II

The talents of the Good Company by Trussardi interpret the brand’s new eyewear collections

The new #visionaryelegance 2016/2017 project stems from an idea conceived by Gaia Trussardi, the brand’s Creative Director, and from her lifelong love for music. This art form permeates most of her work, which she regards as having a strong bond with fashion. Inspired by artists such as John Lennon, Bob Dylan and The Who, Gaia Trussardi has put together the band known as The Good Company by Trussardi, resulting from the selection of highly charismatic musical talents capable of wearing and interpreting the Trussardi eyewear collection inspired precisely by these and other big names of the 1960s and 1970s counterculture. The new faces of #visionaryelegance are Filippo Bertipaglia, Francesco Chimenti, Ermanno Fabbri, Marco Fanciullini, Luca Galimberti, Luca Palmieri and Domi Tinelli. The group currently spends most of its time writing and co-producing in a Milan studio with Gaia Trussardi, an unfailing source of inspiration.

Glasses are a must-have accessory that define artists and underscore their mysterious, gritty and elegant personality; an object that – also in the new collection – looks to the brand’s roots, combined with a touch of cool. All of which values distinguish the new collection of Trussardi sunglasses represented by the brand ambassadors, The Good Company by Trussardi band. In the new styles, exclusive acetates are paired with bright, light metals. Iconic brand details, such as the greyhound, enrich and personalize the eyewear, revealing a deep connection with the brand’s world of accessories. The project name – #visionaryelegance – is a clear reference to two key concepts: ‘vision’, intended as the ability to see, and ‘visionary’, intended as the ability to look beyond – the special gift of “those who have talent”.
