The future is now: the new edition of opti will bring visitors to the shop of the future. The fair,  which will take place from January 12 to 14, at the fairground Messe Munchen, will launch Futureshop in hall B4, a space where everyone can experience new exciting possibilities. Virtual mirrors, interactive systems and displays for shop windows and interiors, 3D printers, software solutions, high-end technology for consulting, diagnosis, refraction, and adjustment, measurement and screening devices, as well as impressive shop design: in the Futureshop of opti  visitors will experience how they can continue to thrill their customers in future. “During their visit to an optical specialist shop, customers not only expect high competency, fist-class service, and the latest technologies, but they also want to feel good and have a unique experience visiting. This is exactly what we want to show with the Futureshop at opti.” says Bettina Reiter, project manager of opti.

The Futureshop, which is divided into a reception, experience, and test area, was developed in cooperation with opticians, exhibitors of the optics industry, experts of the “Zentralverband der Deutschen Augenoptiker und Optometristen (ZVA)” (Central Association of German Opticians and Optometrists), and Aalen University. Students of Aalen University will guide the visitors for a tour every 30 minutes and explain special features and new technologies and devices in German as well as in English, but visitors can also explore the Futureshop on their own. Enjoy the future!
