Oliver Peoples has just arrived in Rome! The luxury eyewear brand headquartered in Los Angeles, has opened its newest boutique and first location in Italy in the acclaimed Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina. Launched on November 10th, the boutique is intimate at 301 square feet.

‘California Midcentury aesthetic is always my inspiration starting point when I design an Oliver Peoples boutique, being that the brand is strongly rooted in Los Angeles. However, each boutique is unique since every city has its own identity and I like to adapt my design concept to the location. For the Rome boutique I wanted to pay homage to the Italian Midcentury. I grew up in Italy and during my formative years I was exposed to the style of the greatest Italian architects and designers like Giò Ponti, Carlo Scarpa, Franco Albini, Luigi Caccia Dominioni among others’ says Giampiero Tagliaferri, Creative Director, Oliver Peoples.

The boutique will carry a large array of sunglasses and optical for men and women, in addition to new styles from The Row collaboration and classic frames that have been relaunched this year as part of the brand’s 30th Anniversary collection. As in its other stores, there will be on on-site optician to help customers find and fit frames.
