Fleye – The Nordic Way

The new SS campaign by Fleye is inspired by colours, textures and layering of the Danish smørrebrød, an open-faced sandwich which is an important part of Danish heritage

For next Spring/Summer 2018, Fleye Copenhagen encourages simplicity and to be trendy with the launch of the second part of its Fleye Smørrebrød campaign, featuring new eyewear models inspired by the colours, textures and layering of the Danish smørrebrød, an open-faced sandwich which is an important part of Danish heritage, reflecting the Nordic way of thinking of food visually. Using lobster and mackerel along with seasonal ingredients, the Danish gourmet chef Rasmus Kjaer created two more sandwiches exclusively for the eyewear brand, which the creative team took as an inspiration for the new Spring/Summer collection. Working with light and perspective, Danish photographer Josephine Svane created a very simple setting featuring bright colours, minimal aesthetics and a touch of irony, in perfect sync with the new sophisticated frames.
