Ørgreen – Through the world

The New Urbanite collection celebrates the diversity of the contemporary urban experience across three continents

words Editorial Staff

‘What strange phenomena we find in a great city, all we need do is stroll about with our eyes open. Life swarms with innocent monsters’. These words of Charles Baudelaire inspire the new collection by Ørgreen, which is a travel through the new and old metropolises of the world. The New Urbanite, this is the name of the April collection, consists of four optical frames for both men and women, each named after a sprawling global metropolis. It celebrates the diversity of the contemporary urban experience across three continents. From the pristine water-fronts of Stockholm to the clash of old and new in the streets of Osaka: Ørgreen’s timeless design has found its home across the world since its founding in 1997, fusing a Nordic minimalist ethos with Japanese functionalism and quality. Per Ørgreen tradition, all frames are hand-crafted in 100% Japanese Titanium, ensuring high durability and are offered in a range of unique color stories developed by our in-house colorist. The New Urbanite collection offers mono- and two-tone color stories such as Mat Glacier Blue, Bircher White, and Rosewood Brown.
