Fleye – Floral portraits

Flowers of Denmark is the name of the Spring Summer campaign by Fleye

photography Ida Emilie Risager

Delicate and inspirational, the latest Spring/Summer 2019 campaign by Fleye is a lesson in style and it gives a superb sensation of lightness. Named ‘Flowers of Denmark’ it has once again taken inspiration from a Danish icon. With a fresh take on the 18th century Flora Danica botanical collection, the team created some floral portraits taken underwater. Real flowers, trees, and shrubs often seen in Danish gardens are assembled to emphasize their beauty and illustrate their intrinsic qualities just like the iconic illustrations from the past only doing so from a fresh perspective. These still-life images taken by Ida Emilie Risager provide the inspiration for rich, dense frame colours, as well as the structures and layering in Fleye’s new eyewear.
