Etnia Barcelona presents new designs for its Vintage Collection homaging the atmosphere of Costa Brava from the 1930s to the 1960s. The collection is a sort of tribute to the Golden years of Hollywood, when actors, musicians and artists frequented the most iconic hotel of the Costa Brava, “La Gavina” and its beaches, turning it into one of the most glamourous spots in the Mediterranean. It revisits the shapes, materials and lenses of the 1950s and 1960s and includes 20 new prescription frames and 14 new sunglasses in both metal and acetate, which are characterized by a fusion of classical looks and the free spirit fo the brand.
On the one hand, the metal temples, built in gold, pink gold and silver, present Art Deco motifs and a classic vintage trim, with a variety of point of colors and golden pins, which offer the collection a touch of sophistication.

On the other, the acetate models are made of natural acetates from the archives of Mazzucchelli production sites and are created in different colors: black, havana, tortoiseshell and carey, alongside more contemporary hues like bottle green, maroon or honey.

The sun collection features the Italian made Barberini mineral lenses, carefully selected from the firm’s “vintage” archives to guarantee the typical look of the glasses in that period.

With this collection, that combines both quality and fashion, Etnia Barcelona asserts again its experience in colors and vintage looks.
