Based in East Westphalia, Germany, MARKUS T since 1999 designs and produces light and durable unique glasses. We can say ‘unique’ because every pair is manufactured 100% by hand in its factory based in Isselhorst, a little town close to the city of Gütersloh. MARKUS T works with two functional and exclusive materials: TMi and titanium. TMi is a synthetic developed and patented just for MARKUS T that unites two seemingly contradictory properties: it is tough, retains its shape and at the same time is extremely light. Here are some new highlights from MARKUS T:
Titanium in its most filigree form is what characterises the DOT Mono. The ultra-thin and high-precision lasered titanium plates have created a collection with a uniquely delicate character. The tilted temples and the screwless hinge bring technology and design in perfect harmony in the smallest of space.

EASE defines lightness by its wide range and its technology. Clearly, minimalism is in the foreground: the delicate, screwlesshinge with temples and bridge made from a very slim titanium, combined with a highly precise glazing technology guarantees that all EASE models are absolute lightweights, starting at only 3.6 grams. At the same time, EASE provides a variety of design options for a completely individual statement.

Not just the reduced design language and the ultra light synthetic TMi, but also the huge colour variety make the ME Pur something special. In the innovative dye process, the colour pigments penetrate permanently and deep into the material and guarantee the optimum colour effect of translucent colours.

The TITAN Aura proves that titanium can be filigree and elegant and also has a very special charisma. Thanks to the progressive, patented dye process, MSC, the matt surface of the material is retained and colour bonding is increased several times over.
