Gigi Studios presents its new headquarters, an open-plan space that conveys the contemporary essence of the brand.

Gigi Studios presents one of its most awaited projects: the new corporate headquarters in Sant Cugat del Valle?s (Barcelona), a 1200 m2 area transformed into an inspiring and contemporary environment. A serene, warm and elegant space that, without losing sight of functionality, moves away from the traditional office and becomes a creative studio that relays the brand’s values and the care and delicacy with which Gigi Studios devises its collections.

The new headquarters occupies an entire floor of an office building with four fac?ades and a rectangular floor plan. One thousand two hundred square metres have been cleared to achieve an ample, open space favouring the team’s interaction and synergies. In addition, the warehouse, logistics and quality teams are kept in the old headquarters, as it was necessary to expand these spaces as well. The renowned architect Isern Serra, who had previously been in charge of the pop-up store in Ibiza and the trade fair stand, designed the minimalist atmosphere and Mediterranean touches.

Patricia Ramo, CEO and creative director of Gigi Studios, has led the design decisions and approach to the project. “The new office is a dream come true. A space that is much more than an office or a corporate headquarters and will be the stage and hub for the new products and events we are organising”.

"All the elements have been custom-designed as if they were small works of art”, explains Isern Serra, the architect in charge of this project. Therefore, each large area of the new Gigi Studios location is conceived from a large custom-designed sculptural object. In the west area, there is a large circular stainless steel sofa with a double function: on the inside, it is a sofa, and on the outside, it is a work table and storage for design books. This large piece is a welcoming element and a stylistic statement that invites you to let yourself be surprised. In the eastern area, the singular element is a large C-shaped bench that evokes craftsmanship and tradition, intrinsic concepts of the brand.

The showroom is divided into two areas, one for exhibition and the other for meetings, which form a minimalist atmosphere and give the collections centre stage. The product is displayed on two large sculptural tables that serve as displays. These concrete tables are supported by two pieces of Roman travertine marble carved by the artists of the Barbany quarry. On the ceiling, circular artwork luminaires illuminate the space, and at the back, a tiered piece of furniture, also made of artwork, serves as a display. Large backlit shelves house the collection, and finally, another unique element is the mirror cabinet, which hides a large screen.

The offices are located in a curved tunnel, the wall of which has a niche sofa that opens up to give access to them. The offices are the only small enclosed spaces with the best views. Inside, a low architectural column helps support the concrete desk, and a wooden side unit can be used to keep more personal items.
