Leinz Eyewear has been working intensively on the topic of 3D printing for several years. In the latest collection, the team is using translucent material, an acrylic-based resin that was previously mainly used in dentistry. This resin is not only translucent, but also fully coloured and it enables a completely new look in 3D printing. With the complex plug-in system that characterizes Leinz Eyewear's design, the translucent resin is combined with the opaque, rather boxy-looking polyamide.
