In occasion of Silmo Paris 2022, Kyme launches its new 2023 collection inspired by the tones of the Mediterranean

The Italian brand Kyme presents at Silmo Paris the new 2023 collection. The Made in Italy 100% of the brand tells the story of Italy, starting from Puglia and its capital Bari, through a campaign of images that will follow several stages around the Bel Paese in search of glimpses and common faces that fully represent its typically contemporary vintage soul.

The alleys of the historic center of the Apulian capital pay tribute to the origins of the brand with the faces that inspired the birth of the new Kyme collection, characterized by a palette of colors inspired by the tones of the Mediterranean, from which the designers have drawn on flat hands, for a choice, in absolute contrast with the period,  which means hope.

The sun models are rounded and soft in oversized shapes, inspired by the most iconic ones in the history of eyewear. Especially "Athena" and "Aura" represent the character of the sun collection, which is strong in shapes with important thicknesses and colors.  "Argo", "Jorges" and "Evan" complete the proposal flanked by typically vintage shapes such as the drop, the wayfarer but with completely revisited thicknesses to give the best comfort and a perfectly unisex fit.
 
The optical collection, instead, is divided into five families all perfectly consistent with the contemporary vintage style  of the brand, all in Mazzucchelli cellulose acetate strictly made in Italy. From classic acetate shapes, all perfectly genderless, to bold models with important thicknesses, passing through the classic metal with rimless acetate circles and hard acetate for the material patented by Mazzucchelli, to end with oversize, perfect for those who want to highlight their personality.
