Lozza enters the special register of historical Italian brands
Lozza, the oldest brand of the De Rigo Group, enters the special register of historical Italian brands. A prestigious award that pays tribute to the exceptional adventure of the brand. Founded in 1878, Lozza has made the history of eyewear in Italy and in the world and continues to tell, even today, quality and creativity through its collections, with proposals inspired by tradition but always contemporary and innovative. Among the factors that have decreed the success of Lozza over time: the primacy in the use of celluloid, a cutting-edge plastic material derived from cellulose; the timeless design of its models; the use of machinery designed to minimize accidents at work, an idea of circular economy ante litteram, thanks to the introduction of the reuse of production waste for the manufacture of other objects, such as buttons. “We are very happy with this new recognition for Lozza, a brand that with pride and great respect we brought to De Rigo almost 40 years ago”– comments Barbara De Rigo Chief Marketing Officer – “Lozza has always represented a point of pride and reference for the entire Italian eyewear sector. We feel a deep responsability towards this brand, and the recognition of “historic Italian brand” makes us even more proud to be able to guide it even today towards the future”.
