Etnia Barcelona – Only a single vision

A new collection, made up of 15 optical models in acetate and metal, and 17 sun models, is launched this month by Etnia Barcelona. It is called Originals and it underlines the signature attributes of the brand. The collection includes an extensive range of colours and new finishes that are making their appearance in the collection for this new season. All the models in this collection are fitted with mineral crystal lenses, which guarantees maximum protection and greater visual perfection. For this collection’s campaign, the Etnia Barcelona team called the photographer Aaron Smith, who takes a tour through the creative studios of key cultural figures who have made Barcelona their place of residence and source of inspiration. The Etnia’s aim was to celebrate its Barcelona roots in this campaign, so they shot the brothers Stefano and Max of the restaurant Xemei; the architect Benedetta Tagliabue, director of the Enric Miralles studio; illustrator Ricardo Cavolo; music producer Awwz; and jeweler and national craftsmanship award winner Enric Majoral. These “Originals” underline the brand’s values and express their resonance with the city’s daily rhythm through colour, design, originality, experimentation, fashion, light and art. A city with many points of view, but united by a single vision.
