Mambo Vol. 1 is the new collection by Etnia Barcelona featuring new geometrical maxisunglasses enhanced by the use of vibrant shades. It’s the perfect collection for a new chapter of #Beanartist, the iconic campaign of the Catalan brand: this time it will bring us on the streets of El Raval. The new Etnia Barcelona Mambo Collection features five new models of oversized sunglasses, inspired by Barcelona’s lifestyle and DNA, made of enthusiasm and joie de vivre.

Speaking about colour, “contrast” is one of the keywords of Mambo Vol. I. The palette includes shades like ivory, turquoise, orange, red or violet blend with havanas, browns, blues and greens. Details and volumes of these geometrical silhouettes, all realized in natural acetate, are enhanced by color’s juxtapositions and underline the strong nature of Mambo Vol.I. A collection like Mambo Vol.I needs something special like a new chapter of #Beanartist, the exclusive campaign series of Etnia Barcelona.

Shot in El Raval, the most cosmopolitan district of Barcelona, this time #Beanartist help us to discover iconic places like La Boquería, the MACBA, the Pinotxo Bar, Wah Wah Records and La Paloma, the historical club that hosted the dances and the celebrations of many young generations since 1920s. Oneiric images, brimming over with a force that reflects the energy of these different places that make Barcelona one of the world’s truly unique cities.
