Fluxus Eyewear expands the Arena Eyewear collection with the introduction of Fulmine 2.0 (opening image) and Saetta 2.0, two new performance-driven models that further develop the brand’s approach to sports eyewear by combining technical innovation, contemporary design and Italian manufacturing expertise.

Produced entirely in Italy by Fluxus Eyewear, the new releases represent an evolution of Arena’s identity, extending its sporting heritage beyond the aquatic environment into a broader active lifestyle context. Developed around the concept of “flow” – the state in which movement, focus and precision converge – the Arena Eyewear project was created in collaboration with Frank Stephenson Design and draws inspiration from the fluid forms found in nature, including sharks, dolphins and jellyfish.

Fulmine 2.0 and Saetta 2.0 introduce a more aerodynamic lens shape and a lighter construction designed to improve visual coverage, stability and comfort during high-intensity activities. Both models are manufactured using Rilsan, a high-performance material selected for its combination of lightness, flexibility and durability, and incorporate polycarbonate lenses with UV protection and advanced treatments. Adjustable nose pads and temples allow for a more personalised fit across different face shapes, while photochromic and polarised lens options broaden the collection’s adaptability to changing light conditions and demanding outdoor environments.

According to Fluxus Eyewear, the new generation achieves a 5% reduction in weight compared with previous versions, contributing to improved wearability without compromising protection or performance. Through Fulmine 2.0 and Saetta 2.0, Arena Eyewear continues to explore the intersection of sports functionality, industrial design and contemporary eyewear culture.
