Dandy’s SS26 blends acetate craftsmanship, bold color contrasts and inclusive design, redefining dandysm through functional eyewear shaped for everyday wear
Dandy’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection explores contemporary identity through a balance of aesthetic research and everyday functionality, starting from its core material: cellulose acetate. Chosen for its versatility, durability, and hypoallergenic properties, it allows the brand to create frames that are both comfortable and expressive, designed to move effortlessly between optical and sunwear.
Color becomes a key narrative element, redefining the codes of modern dandysm. Deep, sober tones are paired with more unexpected accents, such as pink applied to traditionally masculine shapes. This interplay creates a visual language that feels refined yet bold, reflecting a confident and evolving idea of personal style.
The collection is also grounded in real-life usability. Each frame is carefully engineered in terms of fit, proportions, and geometry to ensure optimal performance with progressive lenses. This technical precision enhances the overall design, resulting in eyewear that is as functional as it is visually balanced.
At the conceptual level, Dandy’s introduces the idea of “ultragender,” moving beyond the notion of androgyny toward a more inclusive and additive approach. Masculine-inspired shapes are designed to harmonize naturally with female features, expressing a fluid, contemporary aesthetic that embraces multiple identities.
The campaign Dandy’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection has been created by Eyebook in collaboration with Creaitors.
