The audacious and non-conformist eyewear brand Face à Face enters the new season paying tribute once again to the art of contemporary Japanese design
The french brand born from Parisian artistic culture more than twenty-five years ago, is now ready for a new artistic Japanese adventure. Face a? face launches its new collection Japan now, drawing inspiration from art, design, fashion and architecture.
Taking their cue from renowned artists such as Rei Kawakubo and Issey Miyake, the new models describe this journey from nature to culture. four models that speak of different strands and paths of style, embellished with a new palette inspired by Japanese gardens: blue greens, indigo blue, yuzu green, purple reds with touches of azalea pink and even viva magenta.
The touch of colour does nothing but highlight the refined combinations of materials and shapes. Minimalist and expressive, Haori represents an exploration of the kimono aesthetic. Inspired by the iconic garment, this model is a real stand-out piece with a hand-polished finish, wide temple tips and radical aspect. Carar offers a palette of nature-inspired materials although it particularly highlights the processing of pure matter.
Ode to the ‘Viva Magenta’ colour, Reeds presents a delicate poetical design with a palette of several warm shades. When poetry meets geometric shapes, a unique piece is born – as delicate as it is rigorous. following this concept, Matics boasts an elegance enriched by craftsmanship and functional design. This collection perfectly embodies the philosophy of face a? face: Make the unexpected happen.
