Komono closes its 2026 Super Nature journey with Bloom, a collection inspired by flowers and the natural process of becoming, translating organic forms into expressive contemporary eyewear

With Bloom, Komono brings its Super Nature journey to a close, unveiling the fourth and final drop of a year-long series inspired by the natural world. Rather than simply translating natural references into eyewear, the Belgian brand explores it a philosophy, drawing on the quiet process of growth as the guiding principle behind a capsule collection that celebrates individuality, confidence and self-expression.

The collection takes its cue from one of nature's most familiar symbols—the flower—not for its decorative qualities but for what it represents. A flower does not strive to exist; it simply blooms when the time is right. Komono translates this idea into five acetate frames, including two sunglasses and three optical styles, where sculptural volumes, rounded contours and fluid proportions create silhouettes that feel soft yet assertive.

Organic forms inspired by petals shape the fronts, while elongated temples echo the elegance of stems, resulting in eyewear that conveys a natural sense of movement without sacrificing the brand's contemporary aesthetic. Even the logo carries a discreet floral reference, reinforcing the narrative through subtle design details rather than overt symbolism.

Beyond its visual language, Bloom stands out for the message it conveys. More than a seasonal release, the collection reflects the idea of becoming—embracing one's identity and allowing it to emerge naturally over time. Each frame is conceived as an extension of personal expression, encouraging wearers to reveal who they are rather than conform to external expectations. It is an approach that places emotion alongside design, giving the collection a deeper narrative without compromising its fashion-driven appeal.

As the concluding chapter of Super Nature, Bloom encapsulates the themes that have defined the project throughout the year: the dialogue between nature and contemporary design, the balance between softness and strength, and the belief that authentic style evolves organically. Offered as a limited-edition capsule with five models available in three distinct colourways, the collection confirms Komono's ability to merge conceptual storytelling with accessible, design-led eyewear that feels both current and enduring.
