Lapima launches Perfect Blue, a new eyewear collection blending craftsmanship and modern design. With bold silhouettes and a refined color palette, the brand expands its sunglasses and optical lines for global retail in October 2025
Brazilian eyewear house Lapima introduces Perfect Blue, a new collection where the color blue becomes more than a hue. Designed by creative director Gustavo Assis, the line takes inspiration from cyanotype photography and his first journey to Japan, translating those impressions into eyewear that balances technology with craftsmanship, and imagination with reality. “This season, I chose to see the world in blue,” says Assis. “A serene blue that calms the soul, sees beauty, emits light. A happy blue for a happy existence.”
The sunglasses collection introduces new handcrafted silhouettes: Carmen (photo above), the hero model with cosmopolitan allure; Paloma, a fashion-forward frame also offered in optical; Gal X, structured with modernist precision; and Camila, a soft yet sophisticated cat-eye.
Colorways echo the natural world—Celeste embodies open skies, Seda recalls cloud-like textures and the delicate fabrics used in cyanotypes, while Terra and Oliva ground the palette in earthy tones. Together, they create a chromatic journey where light, air, and nature converge.
For the optical line, Lapima extends its narrative of bold sophistication with new models - also handcrafted - including Leo X, Ida, Marta, Anita, Ava, Bento, and Lisa Petit 44. These frames carry the same chromatic and conceptual spirit, proving that prescription eyewear can be just as expressive as sunglasses.
Launching in October 2025, Perfect Blue will be available through Lapima’s concept store in Campinas, online, and with select retail partners worldwide.
