The pleasure of complexity

The core of the new collection, launched by Mad in Italy, lies in the masterful use of two materials: titanium and acetate.
The original and supremely creative Italian brand Mad in Italy revels in complexity, as evidenced by their latest acetate collection, taking craftsmanship to a whole new Icvel. In this new line, the brand has forsaken the common technique of lacquering used for frame decoration; in its place, with surgical precision, they meticulously insert super-thin layers of acetate, one by one, into the main acetate layer. Furthermore, each frame undergoes milling to create intricate engravings, into which layers of acetate in various shapes and forms are inserted. Once assembled, the entire frame undergoes another round of milling to achieve its precise and unique shape. The complexity of this process presented Mad in Italy with a formidable challenge, however, for a brand driven by inventiveness, elegance, and with an obsession for details ingrained in its UNA, nothing is impossible.
