In order to recycle the remnants from the manufacturing of acetate frames, Morel works with Decoracet, a local partner that supplies the brand with new acetate sheets made by thermocompression using granules from acetate scraps
Since 2014, Morel has been collaborating and investing in a specific recycled acetate process in order to adopt a virtuous local approachwithin a circular economy. In order to recycle the remnants from the manufacturing of acetate frames, the French brand works with a local partner, Decoracet: a French acetate manufacturer with unique recycling know-how, that supplies Morel with new acetate sheets made by thermocompression using granules from acetate scraps.
Valerien frames, above all, are made from 100% locally produced recycled acetate. This concept reimagines Morel’s iconic Tydée design to enhance the acetate temples. Valerien offers a variety of colors and finishes with beautiful shades and subtle plays of transparency that bring character to each frame.
