Mykita and Rimowa expand the Heritage line with new styles and the Clay Green colourway, blending steel and aluminium into lightweight, technical eyewear with a timeless design
Mykita and Rimowa expand their ongoing collaboration with the introduction of four new eyewear styles that further refine the Heritage series, a project grounded in precision engineering, material innovation and a shared commitment to enduring design.
Developed between Berlin and Cologne and handcrafted at Mykita Huas, the collection continues to merge Mykita’s expertise in stainless steel eyewear with Rimowa’s iconic aluminium, resulting in frames that balance structural integrity with a distinctly lightweight feel. This season introduces a new colour expression, Clay Green—a muted, tone-on-tone matte khaki applied to hand-lacquered stainless steel frames and paired with anodised aluminium rings—complemented by Raw Brown Gradient lenses that evoke a subtle patina while maintaining optical clarity.
Alongside updated iterations of the MR001 Panto and MR002 Square, the launch debuts the MR006, a teardrop aviator silhouette that reinforces the collection’s focus on timeless typologies interpreted through a contemporary lens. Each piece integrates premium sun lenses with full UV protection and is accompanied by a co-branded case, cleaning cloth and certificate of authenticity, underscoring the meticulous craftsmanship behind the project.
The campaign, featuring actress Nina Hoss and model Leon Dame, unfolds within a rehearsal setting, framing eyewear as both a functional object and an emotional interface—capable of mediating presence, offering distance and shaping personal expression.
