Mykita and Rimowa expand their eyewear collaboration with two new designs for the Heritage and Visor series, combining German engineering, lightweight construction and contemporary aesthetics

Mykita and Rimowa introduce two new designs that extend their collaborative eyewear collection, reinforcing the shared focus on lightweight construction, technical precision and enduring design.

The additions expand the Heritage and Visor series with contrasting silhouettes. Within Heritage, the MR007 introduces a perfectly rounded shape in silver and black, combining lightweight stainless steel with anodised aluminium rings. The existing MR006 teardrop aviator is also presented in a monochromatic black colourway.

The Visor line evolves with the MR008, a slimmer interpretation of the wraparound shield concept. Its specially developed toric lens construction and distinctive Mylon shield clip maintain the series’ technical character while delivering a more streamlined profile. A new cashmere silver frame paired with a shadow silver shield introduces a refined monochromatic aesthetic inspired by industrial materials and contemporary mobility.

The collaboration is accompanied by The Rehearsal, a campaign featuring Nina Hoss and Leon Dame, in which changes of eyewear mark shifts between characters, highlighting the role of sunglasses in shaping personal expression. Developed between Cologne and Berlin and handcrafted at Mykita Haus, the new styles reflect the German manufacturing expertise shared by the two brands.

The collection is available from 15 October 2026.
