Neubau Eyewear presents a new titanium collection that explores the harmony of opposites
Austrian premium eyewear brand Neubau unveils Harmony of Opposites, its new studio collection, in January 2022. Striking shapes made of robust titanium characterize this collection of five new optical glasses and four new sunglasses as a perfect interplay of natural contrasts.
Minimalist aesthetics and the extremely resistant materials are harmoniously paired with luminous yet understated color choices. Neubau’s vision is to bring aesthetics and sustainability into harmony. This is reflected in its first collection of 2022, which also showcases the brand’s high design and quality standards. The eyewear frames are made using Japanese beta titanium, which is a particularly sustainable choice because less of this material needs to be used and it can be recycled. This special titanium material also offers excellent properties, including flexibility, extreme lightness and long-lasting color intensity.
Furthermore, this year for the first time, the new titanium collection from Neubau Eyewear features an innovative new hinge which works without screws. The conscious approach embedded in the Harmony of Opposites collection is the latest example of how Neubau is continuing to lead the way in sustainability in the eyewear industry. It is also an invitation to the fashion industry to reframe their thinking and to “Join the sustainable avantgarde.” The four sunglasses models, Horst, Gabi, Lea and Noah are available in the natural matte metallic shades of gold, blue, titanium, clay, black and lavender, while the five optical models, Horst, Gabi, Lea, Noah and Phillip are available in a wide range of colors.
The campaign for Harmony of Opposites was created and photographed by visionary photographer Nadia von Scotti against the stunning backdrop of the South African wilderness. Known for her images that combine fashion, nature and abstraction, she creates pictorial stories that illustrate the importance of achieving a perfect balance between humankind and our environment. Internationally renowned South African fashion model Nontobeko Mbuyazi is the face of the campaign.
