Such was the case for Nirvan Javan, which began as a vision in a small zurich studio ten years ago and has since grown into a source of inspiration for many around the world. over the past decade, the Swiss brand has evolved far beyond eyewear, building a name that embodies clarity, craftsmanship, and a cosmopolitan outlook. Each creation reflects the brand’s commitment to individuality, connection, and curiosity, blending the silent precision of Swiss design with the rarified and refined elegance of Japanese craftsmanship.

Since its founding in 2015 and the launch of its first collection shortly thereafter, Nirvan Javan has steadily expanded on the international stage.
Numerous products have been introduced over the years, but 2020 marked a pivotal moment: the launch of the brand’s first premium collection handmade in Japan. This milestone underscored the symbiosis of cultures and reaffirmed Nirvan Javan’s dedication to craftsmanship and cross-cultural inspiration. “Like many independent brands, the early years were marked by the tension between ambition and limited resources. Establishing a supply chain that lived up to our standards: premium acetate, Japanese titanium and hand-finishing was a major hurdle. Finding partners who understood our hybrid of Swiss precision and international cultural fusion took time,” explains Nirvan Javan, founder and designer of the homonymous eyewear brand.
Reaching the ten-year milestone is not only a moment of celebration, but also one of reflection. This anniversary stands as a testament to the evolution and perseverance that have shaped Nirvan Javan over the years. Even more than that, it symbolizes the collective journey that has been shared with all those who believed in the vision and contributed to its growth: partners, collaborators, and supporters alike. “This anniversary is a reaffirmation of our ethos: The Eyes Must Travel. We see this milestone not as a finish line but a new beginning, a chance to continue expanding the world through frames,” states Nirvan Javan.
