Rolf introduces its Brun optical design in the new colour 19 Espresso, one of four tones joining the Substance Collection this autumn. Deep, nuanced and quietly confident, Espresso brings warmth and depth to the collection. Brun features a refined crown panto silhouette, defined by round lenses and a straight brow line. As with every frame in the Substance Collection, Brun takes its name from a river. The frame is crafted from plant-based bean material, combining lightweight comfort with durability. Its patented FlexLock hinge is metal-free, screwless and maintenance-free, reflecting Rolf’s approach of ensuring that every element serves a purpose.

The four new colours added to the Substance Collection are:

18 Petrol Green: a deep blue-green inspired by mountain lakes in the shade. Quiet and subtle, the tone is transformed by the light
19 Espresso: a rich, warm brown inspired by the moment when a short break turns into an idea
20 Midnight Blue: darker than navy and softer than black, offering a subtle introduction to colour
21 November Green: a muted grey-green inspired by forests before the first snowfall
