Vava is re-engineering its Aluminum Series, completely made in Italy and remarkably resistant to corrosio
Vava is re-engineering its Aluminum Series. For this extremely light material, with great physical and mechanical properties, the Portuguese brand chose as its supplier a factory in Italy using a cutting-edge industrial cutting/milling process. While remarkably resistant to corrosion, aluminium can also be recycled over and over again. The new aluminium series has a smaller hinge – 6x6mm, and a thinner rim, making the models WL0011, WL0015 and BL0018 twice as light.
These frames are made in a small family-owned Italian factory, a confirmation of Vava's approach to avoiding mass production. New colours like navy blue and red have been added to the existing colour offer of black and silver. These frames also feature 100% rubber nose pads, providing a softer feel and neutral temperature all year long. The acetate temple tips, while further contributing to soften the feeling, also improve the adjustment options of the spectacles.
