The 33rd Hong Kong International Optical Fair returns in November 2025 with a hybrid format, showcasing global eyewear brands, innovative designs, smart sourcing zones, and the 25th design competition
The Hong Kong International Optical Fair, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), returns for its 33rd edition from 5 to 7 November 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This year, the fair will embrace a hybrid Exhibition+ format, combining the in-person experience with digital tools like the Click2Match business matching platform, running from 29 October to 14 November, for seamless connections between buyers and exhibitors.
The fair will showcase international pavilions featuring unique eyewear designs and technologies, including exhibitors from Mainland China, the Hong Kong Optical Manufacturers Association (HKOMA), and the Japan Pavilion.
The event features zones with a one-stop sourcing experience with Smart Eyewear, Contact Lenses & Accessories, Designer Café, Sporting & Professional Eyewear, Kids Eyewear & Reading Glasses, Lenses, Frames & Parts, Eyewear Accessories, Shop Fittings & Equipment, and Optometric Instruments & Machinery. The Scan2Match feature in the HKTDC Marketplace App allows buyers to browse products, e-floorplans, and keep in touch with exhibitors even after the fair.
The event also features conferences, seminars, and trend forums to highlight the latest developments in eyewear and optometric technology, alongside eyewear parades showcasing a variety of styles. The 25th Hong Kong Eyewear Design Competition, indeed, themed “Blending Tradition and Technology”, will display winning and finalist entries, emphasizing Hong Kong’s creativity and innovation to an international audience.
Blending digital innovation, international exhibitors, and creative showcases, the Hong Kong International Optical Fair remains an unmissable event for the global eyewear industry.
