Silmo Istanbul 2025 brought together global and local eyewear players, and strengthening its position as a leading Eurasian optical platform

Silmo Istanbul 2025 confirmed its role as a unifying platform for the Eurasian optical industry. From November 19 to 22, the 12th edition of the fair brought together 700 brands and exhibitors and welcomed 11,736 visitors—a 12.4% increase compared to 2024—across 25,000 m² at the Istanbul Expo Center. Turkey’s strategic location between Europe and Asia, combined with a rapidly growing domestic market, reinforced the show’s position as a transcontinental hub where business connections are made, innovations are unveiled, and collaborations between international and local players flourish.

Key highlights of the event included the third edition of the Silmo Award Istanbul, which celebrated brands and professionals driving the Turkish optical market forward in design, technology, sustainability, innovation, and customer experience. Silmo Istanbul Akademik expanded the industry’s knowledge through conferences led by local and international experts on trends, artificial intelligence, digitalization, sustainability, and customer experience. Meanwhile, Silmo Next offered a visionary glimpse into the future with its Futurology space and Trend Forum, showcasing themed collections that seamlessly combined fashion and innovation.
