Silmo Paris 2026 is set to bring the global eyewear and optical industry together in Paris, with four days of innovation, trends, technology, conferences and networking.
Paris is getting ready to become the international meeting point for the eyewear and optical industry as Silmo Paris 2026 approaches. The show will take place from 25 to 28 September at Paris Nord Villepinte, bringing together the different players shaping the sector around creativity, innovation, trends, networking and new perspectives.
Nearly 34,000 visitors, 950 exhibitors and more than 1,500 brands, with professionals from 150 countries, are expected to attend the four-day event. Innovation, trends, expertise and new ideas will be at the centre of the 2026 edition, with a programme designed to explore both the present and the future of the industry. Silmo Next and its Tech Village will focus on the technologies reshaping optics and eyewear, from smart glasses and artificial intelligence to demonstrations and immersive experiences. The Silmo d’Or will once again put the spotlight on creations that push the boundaries of design, innovation and new uses, as well as on the talents driving the industry forward. At the Trends Forum, shapes, materials and colours will provide an immersive overview of the trends expected to influence upcoming collections. The programme will also feature Silmo Talks, offering insights, analysis and expertise on market developments, emerging uses and the transformations affecting the sector. Meanwhile, the Contact Lens Workshops will combine conferences and practical sessions aimed at deepening professional knowledge, encouraging discussion and supporting the development of expertise.
The conference programme will be another central component of the fair. Spread across four spaces, more than 60 conferences will address some of the key issues currently shaping the optical industry, including artificial intelligence, smart glasses, health, retail, CSR and the evolution of professional roles. Among the highlights of the calendar, Friday 25 September will open with Smart glasses: understand, anticipate and take action, while Saturday 26 will explore predictive and preventive healthcare through the eye, combining imaging and AI. On Sunday 27, the focus will shift to retail with Stand out or disappear: why retail needs to reinvent itself. The programme will conclude on Monday 28 with a session looking at the training of tomorrow’s opticians in smart glasses and artificial intelligence.
The complete conference programme and the full range of Silmo Paris 2026 experiences are available on the official Silmo Paris website.
