As in architecture and design, accessories too feature certain structural elements that stand the test of time, conveying strength, boldness and a contemporary attitude while, more than others, accentuating the personality of the wearer. Ray-Ban also reinterprets its iconic teardrop shape with the Bill RB2198 sunglasses, featuring a slightly squared-off silhouette. The black frame is paired with lenses in three different colours: blue, yellow and purple.

The Gianni model by TBD Eyewear, meanwhile, explores softer shades of grey in the new Ash colourway, darker across the upper section before gradually becoming lighter towards the bottom, visually lightening the squared-off front and giving it a more dynamic appearance.

Equally unmistakable is the TI0022 acetate style from Tom Ford’s Icon Collection. Its uncompromising navigator shape is instantly recognisable thanks to the signature T logo extending onto the temple, through which the metal wire core can be seen.
